My name is Eric. However, my dad rarely calls me that. He calls me “Bud”, or when he talks about me he calls me “The Bud”. It’s a nickname that’s stuck.
What makes me happy is making others happy. Sure, it may sound corny, but it’s the honest truth. It’s far too common for people to get bogged down by the negative, so between my secular work and volunteer work, I really aim to make people happy. Having nearly a decade of experience in the customer service industry has given me ample opportunity to turn potential customer service disasters into huge wins for my company.
I like to pack my bag and head out of town, preferably out of the country. Ok, that was a bit of a lie because packing is no fun, but the end result is! Some of my favorite cities in the world that I’ve visited are San Sebastian, Spain, the islands of Krabi in southern Thailand and the incredible Tokyo, Japan.
I like people. Maybe too much. Sometimes my close friends make fun of me for being friends with too many people. But I can’t help it, I’m a people person!
I like to write. I’ve done it since I was 5 years old and have been in love with it ever since. It’s a great way to express what’s going through my mind, which is always on the run, just like I am… seeking what’s next, figuring out where to go, trying to discover something new.
Thanks for checking out my blog, Eric on the Run. Feel free to follow me, and we’ll figure out where we’re going together.
